Service and license
Tellwick Notes helps you work with notes, recordings, messages, translations, tasks and calendar events. The current native beta supports WhatsApp through an optional configured Go service. Teams and Outlook are in development and deferred in Swift. Web Sync and managed paid connections are future plans, not features you can purchase in this build.
For App Store distribution, Apple's standard software license governs the app license unless a separately published custom license replaces it: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These service terms do not reduce mandatory consumer rights or rights under that license. Third-party components retain their respective licenses.
Mobile beta availability
The iPhone/iPad beta requires iOS/iPadOS 26 or later and is a separate mobile target. Apple AI depends on supported hardware, ready system assets and language. Optional remote Hetero speech/text requires a configured HTTPS service, its separate credentials and explicit permissions; no hosted AI quota, bundled mobile model weights or paid subscription is included. Local notes, events and tasks do not require that service.
Starting with mobile build 20, ordinary WhatsApp setup uses your phone number and a short code confirmed in WhatsApp; Tellwick creates a separate, scoped connection automatically. You can disconnect and delete server history in the app. Local messages and notes are kept; if phone unlinking fails, remove the linked device in WhatsApp too. A custom server is available in advanced settings. This connection does not provision remote AI credentials or permit outgoing replies. The mobile app records the microphone, recognizes image text on click with Apple Vision, and stores planning data locally. Mac system-audio capture, bundled inference and CLI integration are separate features.
Starting with mobile build 19, optional local speaker analysis creates timed voice turns and 24-value MFCC acoustic signatures. Remember voice requires your action and an entered name; suggested matches require confirmation, and saved profiles can be renamed or deleted locally. Profile names and vectors are not sent to Hetero. These probabilistic labels are not identity verification or authentication, and speaker labels, transcription and translation may be wrong. Review the audio and original text before relying on results. Approving remote speech sends the recording audio to the configured service; text processing requires its separate permissions.
Your control and responsibilities
You may connect only accounts and process content you are authorized to use. Obtain consent and follow applicable recording/privacy laws before recording other people. Protect your device, service token, server and linked devices. Do not use Tellwick for spam, bulk unsolicited messages, fraud, harassment, unauthorized collection or interference with another service.
No reply is sent automatically. A send action asks you to review the recipient and text and confirm it. If the delivery outcome is unknown after a network failure, inspect WhatsApp before trying a new send; a new request could duplicate the message. A sent message cannot be assumed recallable.
Review every translation, transcript and AI output before relying on it or sending it. AI output is not a guarantee or professional medical, legal or financial advice. Keep backups of important local work. Recognition quality and speed depend on language, audio, hardware, selected model and network.
Image recognition starts only on click and uses packaged local models. Review OCR and calendar suggestions before saving. Codex / Claude CLI processing is optional, disabled by default and requires your own configured gateway and provider authentication. Provider charges and terms apply separately; no paid Tellwick plan is activated by enabling it.
Third-party accounts and infrastructure
Tellwick is independent of WhatsApp/Meta, Microsoft and Apple. The whatsmeow connection is unofficial. Third-party providers may change access, interrupt service or restrict an account under their rules. A subscription cannot guarantee third-party authorization, permanent access or App Store approval. Moving an integration to a server does not by itself establish compliance.
The current beta uses an owner-configured endpoint. The owner operates and pays for that server; no public managed-service availability or SLA is promised. The server holds linked-device session material and message data as described in the native privacy policy. A remote AI coordinator is optional and may incur charges from the provider you choose.
Price and future subscriptions
This TestFlight beta is free and does not automatically start a paid plan. Local work does not require a cloud account. Prices in the development README are proposals; only an enabled purchase screen and store confirmation constitute an offer. Future native digital subscriptions will use StoreKit and disclose the exact localized price, billing period, renewal, cancellation and restore options before purchase. We will not charge for deferred Teams/Outlook features.
Apple handles its purchase billing, subscription management and refund requests under the applicable store rules. Canceling a future subscription stops its renewal subject to the store's rules. Expiration must not prevent reading or exporting existing local notes. Service cancellation, unlinking a phone and deleting server data are distinct operations, explained in the privacy policy.
Beta limitations and changes
Beta features may contain defects or change. TestFlight builds expire under Apple's testing rules. Export important work before a beta expires. Nothing here excludes non-waivable rights or liability that applicable law prohibits excluding. No uptime, loss-free storage, perfect AI accuracy or linear hardware scaling guarantee is made.

Your content remains yours; these terms do not authorize selling it, publishing it, using it for advertising or training models on it.
