Why might there be no download button?
The button appears only after a file is published to official tellwick storage. If it is missing, a compatible build has not been released.
Why might Windows show a warning?
Early beta builds may not yet have a commercial signing certificate. Make sure the file comes from tellwick.com and do not bypass the warning if the source is different.
Do I need a web account?
No. Local use works without an account. Sign-in is needed only for the optional web workspace and sync.
Is an internet connection required?
The full build works fully offline: transcription and translation run on your device and no models download after installation. A smaller online build fetches its models on first use instead. No Python or extra tooling is required.
Where is my speech processed?
On your own computer — the Intel NPU/GPU or the CPU — including the fast on-device draft translation. Only the optional web workspace and sync involve a server, and messenger credentials never leave your machine.
Which channels are supported?
tellwick is being built around WhatsApp and a general channel architecture. Teams, Outlook and email availability may vary between beta builds.
